Sport Vocational Competence Update
FREE for Binnacle partner schools
DO YOU HOLD A PRIOR SPORT/FITNESS QUALIFICATION (CERT III OR ABOVE) OR TEACHING DEGREE?
If so, you are eligible to complete this non-accredited Vocational Competence Update (VCU) which is specific to the Binnacle Sport and Recreation programs:
- Certificate III in Sport and Recreation (SIS30115)
- Certificate II in Sport and Recreation (SIS20115)
VCU is for Binnacle Program Deliverers to demonstrate their current knowledge and skills specific to each unit of competency in the qualification(s) being delivered.
An 'Assessment Only' program - specific for teachers with a Sport/Fitness qualification (Cert III or above) or Teaching (HPE) Degree.
VCU Sport comprises the following components:
- Evidence Checklist of accreditation documents.
- Completion of Binnacle Profile including supply of Statement of Service - Signed by Employer.
- Demonstration of Vocational Competence - specific to individual units of competency.
Time for completion = 3-4 hours
